“You said no” to the music of ‘Skin and Bones’ by the Foo Fighters

Stayed up late on Friday night
Didn’t mean to find a fight
I wish you weren’t out of sight
Out of sight
Out of sight

You said no
You said no
You said no all alone

You said no
You said no
You said no all alone
And you love me so

Was it truth or was it not
I’m escaping out of thought
The more I begged the more I fought
More I fought
More I fought

You said no
You said no
You said no all alone

You said no
You said no
You said no all alone

And you love me so
And you love me so
And you love me so
And you love me so
And you love me so

You told me ‘bout all the stains
With me, you said, you’d be fain
Didn’t want to cause you pain
Cause you pain
Cause you pain

You said no
You said no
You said no all alone

You said no
You said no
You said no all alone

You said no
You said no
You said no all alone

And you love me so
And you love me so
And you love me so
And you love me so
And you love me so

Thirst

Dog on stairs,

Eyes yawning guilt.

Paws have no care,

Water scathing past,

The dish is done.

Over.

Sabotage

The saloon

Hard and dusk.

Symphony and swell balloon.

Snatch the stepchild

With savage rage.

Seclude the time.

Sulfuric cage.

Slit the bag,

And watch it rain.

Tripping Past

Cracks seep outward,
Numbing the bones.
Mirrors sling back.
I hear you walking.
Pitching film reels.
Playing thought
Games. Gain?
Lost…
Pride. Gone
With you.

History Heights

Pealing Polaroid
Thrusted its body
Clawing eyes’ sockets.
Leaf carpet
Brush my brain.
Cannon ball hair
Slink down mucus trails.
Wind springs chest,
River rock eyes
Blaze
The barren stall.
Staff blocks throat
Summer oozing back.
Rush. United.
Better than now.
Regret pounds, punches, preys.
Ribs
Teeth bore.
Lips squirm up in peace.
I wish I had never looked.
Polaroid falls, cobbled floors bide.
Aquatic breeze
Finally clutches my heart.
Time is rotting.
Polaroid moves on.

Whiplash. Cop Stab

Wind rushing by me, world moving like kaleidoscope
The lights blind me – migraine flashing
I hear you slowing, bracing pained hope
Brick wall collapsing under pressure
I flash my eyes – willing, killing the speed.
My pupils cloud up, the heat makes me cry.
Green algae crawls in our nose – hungry scents.
Thap! Neon green gum gives to the ground.
Laying next to your dead unmoving limbs
Me and you, how we work is a love scene
Thou hearest, thy sight captures hims-
Elf. Shoe polish burns our throat – black
Wait, the day is dark, dark without blow torch
Or match. Our body slows in tick-tock.
Dwindling. Last thought: flicker, flicker, dim and
Fade

Tree Fit

I’m reaching –
these hands
guards against fire.
Knotholes grabbing
midnight sound,
wings are dead.
Feline guests lie
on my arms.
You. Asking …
“Why are you here?”
You.
Slashing my skin.
For you.
My skin weeps.

Twinkle Twinkle Remix

Flickering, Flickering tiny light,
Pondering, ponder how you take flight,
Though you drift from the world with haste,
Shining gold from the deep dark dirt paste,
Bright glowing hint in the distant night,
How I think, the way you get your light.

"Everyone is Irish..."

Clambering over stool-chairs.
Hands numb.
Crimson gold hairs.
He,he,he and Hay-o.
Thoughts brewing slow.
Sing a Song. Sing-along. Seven deadly Sins.
Tinted green, for spring scenes.
Sick on the floor.
Broken, wet bleeding doors.

Found Poem

Blending Kingdom

Sacrifices.
Pioneers.
Perspective.
Priorities.
Divine chaos today. Asking laboring children obedience.
Continue crisis.
Qualified warfare.
Priority harvest 2,700.
Who prepare makeshift assemblies.
Accomplished emphasis resolution.
Pentecostal genocide.
Severe spectrum.
Abundantly romanticized.
Needy.
Beneficial establishes.
Timeless mobilization.

Two-Tone Poem

My mind, black as tar.
Scarlet tears crawled out the scars.

At any moment i could attack.
Like a crimson fly swatter. Thwack!

Both colors for no one to steal.
Totally tucked to the wheel.

The blacktop freeway has no hold.
Blood sunset, over the poppy seed bold.

Riddle Poem

I wrap around your love.
You may never hold me.
But I will fit you like a glove.
If you drop me, I go ting, ting, ting.
And the bells may ring, ring, ring.
I hide in many places.
And you may look forever.
But I'm always close at hand, holding many face.
